Lift the veil of the art world today in this one of a kind book  which gives a unique insight into how to establish yourself as an art  world professional. The first two years’ worth of stories from a  popular, entertaining and visually compelling blog have been compiled  into a book that will entertain and inform industry insiders at all  stages, as well as curious outsiders.

Alongside the down-to-earth writings of Susan J Mumford, a  game-changer in the 21st-century art world, are the photographs by Chris  E King, an art, documentary and event photographer based in London.  These, over time, become synonymous with the written text and together  the visual compilation will strike a chord with individuals who harbour a  passion for writing or photography.

This innovative power couple are well known and respected  within the art community. Susan is an entrepreneur, mentor, speaker and  author, born and raised in the USA and who now is based in London (with  frequent visits to New York). Several organisations that she has founded  provide support to art world professionals including the Association of  Women Art Dealers (AWAD) and Be Smart About Art. Her mission is to  empower and enlighten individuals who run creative and/or small  enterprises. She is also passionate about addressing societal  discrimination, focusing on gender equality and ageism.

Chris E King is a British Photographer who never goes anywhere  without his ‘proper’ camera. His work presented in this book are visual  interpretations of the written stories, the images of which have become  part and parcel of the series. Chris has just published his book ‘No  Opportunity For Regret’ and his photography is held in private  collections in the UK and USA. Documentary works can be viewed in the  permanent collection at The Frontline Club, London.
